Concerts

I was there for a great concert featuring my first “So Young and In Love” as the opening song. It was also my first and only “If I Was the Priest” as a nice surprise. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 ✝️⛪️ 🙏🧑🏻‍🦱🎸🧑🏾‍🦱🎷😎

I was very impressed with them too, though it was a stripped-down European Sun in Newport:

I worked in Bristol for nearly twenty years and shamefully this was my first visit to the cathedral. So much to see that (ironically) I need to go back! Glad you made it to the concert, Bristol is pretty spread out!

Oh, excellent. The Alice In Chains act had bad sound problems which the venue didn't seem to know how to fix, but other than that they were great. The Nirvana act were incredible. Outdoor venue, so it was weird to be so close to smokers again, forgotten how unpleasant that can be

Oh thank god I already got worried that I'd miss it and all the merch would be sold out

Yep Notts. Fantastic gig, I even somehow survived the floor right near the stage. Had the pleasure of seeing them with Keith a couple of times in the 90's (one of my few remaining photos). Incredible how they are still going and bringing this level of show.

Excellent - saw Au Pairs recently supporting the Skids, they were superb 😃
