Posts reference a Telegraph piece quoting Tony Blair saying the state pension “must go” and is “outdated and unaffordable.” Documents include a shared link, a user rebuttal arguing the state pension is not inherently more outdated/unaffordable than other pensions, and a mention of a “Public Duty Costs Allowance” of £115,000 p.a.

Despite this guff from Tony, state pension isn't inherently more outdated and unaffordable than any other kind of pension. State can obviously do whatever pension funds can do and does need to make a profit.
Yes, Tony Blair’s outdated and unaffordable state pension definitely should go! www.standard.co.uk/hp/front/bla...
Tony Blair net well potentially over 70 million. It's always people who no longer need the state pension calling for reform. And there's a pattern. No uni tuition fees for Blair and his generation. Fees for everyone else's children. Every time he speaks he tarnishes new labours achievements.
