The Greens for Palestine group put out a five minute video essentially saying that all forms of criticism of Israel are by definition legitimate and they're not going to accept any decisions by the Green Party that any of them are antisemitic. It's essentially a mutiny against party discipline.
I agree that they should be arrested if there is evidence that they are racist, be that antisemitic or anything else, and hopefully due process will be done Equally they should be thrown out of the party if they are found guilty- hopefully they will be suspended I’m totally against antisemitism

It's a shame for the Greens that Your Party has failed so badly.
"Two local election candidates, for the Green Party in Lambeth, have been arrested on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred. The legal threshold for that is quite high: the Guardian reports some of the content which may cross it www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026..."

However if she is deemed and others are deemed to have made racist remarks, be they anti-semitism, islamaphobia or anything else racist, then she or others must be thrown out of the GP I am note Labour are quick to jump in And no I’m not defending antisemitism at all. It is dangerous and wrong

Antisemitism is not the same as Antisemitism zionist. I've unfollowed you as you may have fallen in that trap.

The statement is not in response to the candidates in Lambeth, it's in response to the stabbings, which he feels personally less safe because of. Meanwhile, other parties pretend that the Greens are antisemitic because our policies oppose genocide. While he is more impacted than they are. >
All I’d say is Polanski precisely resembles most my (graduate 25 year old, left lib social circle) down to the hyperonlineness and new strident left coded opinion a day. Now this isn’t necessarily a compliment, a party leader should be more informed about politics than a painter from Exeter…

The excellent @kentcurrent.news has been doing some more digging into the strange case of the Kent county councillor who’d like a second seat… on Greenwich Council www.kentcurrent.news/alan-cecil-a...

‘There must be in groups that the law protects but does not bind, and out groups that the law binds but does not protect’ I do not know whether these Green candidates are illegal, but their comments absolutely cross a line that should prevent them from being part of a supposedly anti racist party.
“The reforms introduced by Margaret Thatcher nearly half a century ago began the long march downwards in the balance of power and wealth in our country,” Polanski will say in a speech in Greater Manchester" Every government since then, including New Labour has continued with her noliberal agenda.

Lad, it's Sunder. One of the UKs leading anti-racism activists. There are few more even minded people out there - and he has very much called out Reform, repeatedly. You owe him a apology and maybe think about why you respond this way to people calling out racism on your own side
