Knack seems to want to show that he cares about everyone equally, and that seems to manifest as ignoring the people who he aligns with to seem 'impartial'.
First I thought this was a crazy person posting but when I looked at the proposals I did start to wonder how old or disabled people board the bus w/o having to cross an active bike path? nextdoor.com/p/GKbwR8YLF6tG www.nyc.gov/html/dot/dow... #Urbanism #Cars #Bikes #NYC
"And read our initial thoughts on what the Toronto City Council Cycling Scorecard does (and doesn't) tell us: www.cycleto.ca/city_council_cycling"
Cc: @stateofthecity.bsky.social I don't think I've seen an advocacy group (at least in Toronto) make sure to note that how an elected municipal rep votes at City Hall doesn't necessarily translate into real-world results. Curious to see if other groups follow their #TellTheTruth lead #TOpoli

Same reason I haven't left Columbus. I have no need of a car. Before Covid, it was 25 cents a ride, now it's free and just never reverted back. I'd like to visit NY someday. Subway costs are very reasonable.

Seriously, you don’t even need to own a car in NYC. It’s one of many, many reasons I love living here!
No lines no affordability and amtrak has the nerve to blame the public for being uninterested in using public rail transit. Not to mention, in philly at least, if you DO happen to have a line you still have to manage an arcane system of trolleys, single car limited lines, and connecting buses.
A late-April 2026 current comparison video of #Trail and #NewDenver #BC crosswalks showing the state of both the #VeteransCrosswalk in Trail and the #PrideCrosswalk in New Denver as an example for why municipalities should always be called out for this type of community infrastructure “enhancement.”
