He plays a vicar (a Dean) who relates his former life as a dog under the influence of an Hungarian wine called "Imperial Tokai". Peter O'Toole was his former master, Bryan Brown was his former dog friend. It's very sweet.

Wonderful news that Sam Neill is cancer free. And he's now dvocating for CAR T-cell therapy, "which he underwent as part of a clinical trial, to be rolled out for blood cancer patients across Australia." #science www.theguardian.com/film/2026/ap...
This makes me very, very happy. Sam Neill is a favourite of mine. A good, kind person who has made some of my favourite films/shows ever (some little known ones, the Jurassic Parks, Hunt for the Wilderpeople & Peaky Blinders). Glad that he’s healthy and he’s been able to fight his cancer.
1st of all thank God Sam Neill is clear from the cancer! 2nd it shows that when a country invests & put their best minds into these groundbreaking treatments lives can be saved. I fear that folks could die in the US b/c our medical research centers are in a dire state. bsky.app/profile/ign....
