With Swalwell out, Steyer topping out at ~18-20 after dropping well over $100M, & Porter receding to the 8-10 range, I low-key expect @xavierbecerra.bsky.social to: -unite many Hispanic voters -become the choice of Dems/D-leaning indies who want "boring competence" vibes from #CAGov and surge a bit.
Porter is nasty tempered, which isn't good. We need a person of stable temperament, that doesn't create needless conflicts. She also proposes simple, gimmicky solutions to complex problems. Mahan impresses me favorably.

I voted for him in statewide races. I like him. Just don’t know he can get above Steyer, Porter, or Becerra in the Dem group. And, frankly, risk for Pedopublicans being top two in the primary is so high that all but 2 Dems should drop out and the Dems need to blitz the public about that.

Believe the actions not their words, have we not learned Porter has my vote. Women have shaped my life as no other, from raising, educating, nursing, loving, the least I can do is support one of them. I know some people are working here against her & other women, yeah… working as getting paid
I haven’t even paid attention to who’s running on the democratic ticket in California. What a shock with Swalwell. Who would be a better choice on the democratic ticket?
I was a huge Porter fan, until some temperament issues gave me pause: treatment of staff and hospitality employees (waiters and the like). But again "Any Dem Will Do" in a general.
J.B. Pritzker is a billionaire, and has done a truly outstanding job here in Illinois. His progressive credentials are bona fide, and he rescued the state from the brink of fiscal ruin in just a few short years. I don't know much about Steyer, but I wouldn't dismiss him solely for being too wealthy.
