Shoe company pivot to AI

I don't know why anyone decided to call this a pivot. The entirety of the shoe company was shed in a sale, and all that remains is the incorporated entity, the money they got for the rest of the company, and being listed as BIRD on the market. Now another entity is buying that to avoid IPO. Scam.

It's the boots theory of economics: if you're only able to afford cheap shoes, you'll buy them more frequently. But if you can afford higher quality shoes, you can afford a subscription to an AI platform that will help you reduce your need for shoes.
