Mass arrests at Palestine Action protest

I mean this just makes my blood boil But this is also why you don't give up your weapons. They would not be half as braisen as they are if they had the fear of mortality in them. Plus you know what they say "When peaceful protest is made impossible, you go right to violence"

So this is true. However following the High Court judgement the police suspended use of these powers. Then recently chose to use them again despite the Supreme Court appeal judgement being only a few weeks away. And there being no credible justification for doing so. Why not wait.

Seeing a lot of posts about this and I think the government and the police are arseholes BUT; until the judgement and any appeals are settled Palestine Action is still banned and the arrests are still legal.

My guess is that she knew what she was letting herself in for. Regardless of the state of play with the appeal by the Home Office , PA is still a banned organisation. When it isn't banned, (which is likely) people won't be arrested. Until then , this is nothing to do with Palestine.

The case is ongoing which is why they're still proscribed, the Government has appealed the decision, everyone on the march knows this, why don't you?

You don’t find it odd that a Qatari based news org is posting about a bunch of people deliberately getting arrested in London but not the slavery going on in their own backyard?

We know the situation in the UK, with one group still being proscribed despite a legal ruling their proscription is illegal. But we shouldn’t forget to celebrate those overseas who are actually doing something at risk to themselves, over symbolic gestures (marching etc.) 💚

We must always remember that many terrorists (sleeper cells in our nation) will play our legal system to influence our citizens. Without that guilty verdict, don't self-indoctrinate what there is not yet evidence or a court verdict to back up - that often leads to mental health issues.

The law currently in place states that support of Palesine Action is support for a proscribed organisation. Despite a prior Court case, the Met have no choice until the law is changed. These people will go before the Courts. And the Courts will continue to fail them. Hanx Labour.
