Advocacy for isolating infrastructure computers from the Internet (e.g. "Every single infrastructure computer should be airgapped..."); a preference for non-digital/electro‑mechanical controls (brass, dials, levers); technical note on memory behavior: "compaction resets flat" and periodic snapshots where some state survives resets while other data is discarded as noise.

And it’s gonna make a lot of your IT stuff harder and more annoying! As an org you’d have to be willing to accept that your tech is going to move a little slower than the rest of the world.
I have this fantasy of bringing back electro-mechanical controls for equipment that doesn't really need computing. All brass and cast iron and glass with dials and needles and levers and so on.
