Calls for clear stances on a potential contentious fork: authors urge full-node owners to "have an opinion and take a stance," criticize "fence sitting" and the "influencer class," and warn that decisions about what is a "valid transaction" affect the protocol and users' "life savings."

As a result, you will probably have three major players in the market, with progressives in the minority, and ossification will accelerate further. #BIP110"
Yes, they have to deliver something first. However they talked about another client for a long time. It is not a new idea.
#bitcoin #btc #money #education #china https://o.uguu.se/oWvFvBqj.jpeg https://h.uguu.se/VmYZGVFT.jpeg
Bitcoin nodes are like your grandma—they hate clutter. Witness data hoarding? That's leaving your junk in her forever. OP_RETURN? It's the 80-byte note that gets tossed after she reads it. One respects the house. The other is why she's complaining about your "collections." Do better.
Im calling you a liar for pretending not to have an opinion. Is it because you dont want to offend half of your target audience? I dont know and I genuinely dont care what opinion you carry. All im saying is that you have one. So you should stand on it.
You're essentially calling me a coward for not caring and a grifter for actually using Bitcoin as money for a product I make with my hands. If you think this is a winning strategy for bringing people to your side, good luck. I hope you have a great rest of your evening.
B4 you mock me for calling you an influencer, are you here to sell wine? Or actually see bitcoin succeed in a meaningful way long term? If your too scared to share your opinion the answer is that you're here to sell wine.
You dont have to say it, but people will act on their opinions financially, which will directly effect all public fence sitters too scared to go on the record. Everyone has an opinion deep down. The influencer class is to scared to make that opinion public. Cowardace.

If you own bitcoin and/or run a full node you definitely have the right to have an opinion on this. You are trusting the protocol to carry your life savings into the future. Its no joking matter. You are also volunteering to store the history of the blockchain and broadcast every valid transaction without pay. What is or is not considered a valid transaction has resulting consequences to the longevity of this protocol to effectivly keep your trust to carry your purchasing power into the future. It also directly effects incentives as to how the potocol may be used and proceeding public opinion of said uses. Claiming your not a technical expert is a cop-out. Have an opinion and take a stance. Thats exactly why I want a contentious fork to happen. No more fence sitting.
