I like ryes! Bourbon often has a sweet, syrupy quality I'm not overly fond of. This one though is rather sweet, but not in a way I dislike. It tastes very apple-y. I like it!

I wish I would have tried more when I was on exchange in Wülfrath. I was hung up on beer. Missed all the mixers and had no appreciation for wine at the time. My father told me to find Mosel wines, which I did, but not enough. I want to go back and explore more.

Yeah, it definitely depends on the type/age of wine and having them all room temperature is going to make it more challenging! My daughter interned at Mumm last summer. My wife and I met her for a tasting. I highly recommend it. I had no idea that sparkling wines could have such different tastes.
