LIRR trains to Atlantic Terminal and Amtrak Northeast Regional trains have more than two crewmembers. Freight trains should continue to run with two, no disagreements there.

I agree, building passive provision for infill stations makes sense and will make things a lot cheaper & easier in future. But I have to keep banging the drum of building passive provision for *longer* stations too. Eventually, 4-car trains will not be enough, and we need to be able to extend them!
