No. That did not cause a nation to capitulate. It resulted in an army's withdrawal only and a negotiated agreement. My language is specific to the claim of regime change.

This war was a serious miscalculation and the stress is getting to them.

And a much more cohesive civil society that isn't fracturable along ethnic and sectarian lines the way that both Afghanistan and Iraq were.

I feel this is conceptually going in the wrong direction. I don't think hurleys are the priority here.

Hard to have a strategy when you don’t even have the munitions stockpiles to exercise any effective strategy.

It's difficult to form a strategy when your only objective is regime change, but there are no good regimes.

US could have been prepared too…
