Posts from non-U.S. sources recounting personal encounters with Americans where voting choice and Trump/MAGA support are foregrounded. Key phrases: "how... you can vote for a rapist," "77M of the mouthbreathers," and "very clear on your Trump/MAGA status." Mentions of Europe, Sweden, Canada, travel, relatives, and tense social interactions centered on U.S. political affiliation.

My son was living in Sweden for two months over the summer. First order of business in any personal interaction for a USian* is being very clear on your Trump/MAGA status. All gets way more relaxed - fast. *(im gonna write USian from now on just to irritate that guy who should’ve known better)
Overseas, people openly talk about politics. My mentality is always be ready to be accountable for your decisions to others. I wouldn’t have problem talking about who I voted for. It’s always the ppl who dislike accountability or don’t want to explain themselves who struggle with this question
Tina, I won’t. I have relatives in the US. We met this summer in Germany. We did our very best not to touch on politics because that might have damaged everything beyond repair. But is hard to understand how, when you have a daughter, you can vote for a rapist. But, it is important that decency wins
"Who'd you vote for?" ought to be the first question asked upon any other nation's border control encounter with an American asking for entry. If their answer is anybody but Vice President Harris, and they cannot prove it, they should be denied entry. These people need to be isolated for all time.
We were standing on a curve at the bobsled track in Cortina when a woman wearing a Swiss flag stepped up to us and said, "I have to ask, did you vote for Trump?" Right out of the blue. We happily assured her we did not, and then proceeded to enjoy the rest of the races with her and her family. 🤝
Im from the UK, i read it as anti war and making fun of Trump.. I don’t know the author, i suppose its a lesson in context judging buy the comments here. People seem to be reading it as her attempt at comedy.. what am i missing
