Posts complain about customs fees and tariffs blocking imports, e.g. "Tons of cool things we can't get here" and "getting product into the US, lol, good luck." Documents mention suppliers and business plans halted by tariffs, call customs fees "blatant crime," and suggest workarounds like "in-country 3D printers."

"Such a predictable pattern... I think of a pretty good business idea. Nothing impressive, but it would be sustaining... Costs all checking out, suppliers look fine... But oh, getting product into the US, lol, good luck. Customs fees were already blatant crime, but now with tariffs, I can really only conclude that the plan is to literally impoverish and enslave all Americans. "

I love 3d printers and want them in every household. My ideas tend to be things printers can't print.

well, that is a very good question !! I not an expert, but will defer to P Krugman, who is His take, iirc, is that the *actual tariffs are much lower then the scary initial numbers and that also at least in 2025 a lot of companies imported stuff ahead of tariff not sur if this answers your ?
Trump said over and over he was going to bring the economy roaring back it hasn't happened remember on day one ?? It's been twelve months the dollar is down 9 %points since he took office meaning it's worth less .jobs are being lost that means less tax revenue to pay our countries debt !!!!!!!!!!
The bottom line on tariffs is not just higher prices- it's unprecedented levels of corruption. Tariffs create the opportunity for "carve outs" for specific industries, companies or individuals. This is what Trump wants. More ability for graft and open corruption. So it is doing what's intended.
