I don’t think it makes things better at all. I was thinking about the athletes and how hard they worked for years to be there. I do hope that they can enjoy the moments they worked so hard for.
I am so conflicted about these games Mrs Betty Bowers. On one hand the athletes are innocent and have worked so hard to get here and yet on the other, I am terribly ashamed of my country and the atrocities they are committing. I find it hard to watch with the same enjoyment as in past years.
