"Ally" is not sufficient for a representative democracy anyway. Actual trans people representing the needs of trans people would be ideal; people who have a vested interest in the success & flourishing of trans people would be the floor. Yes, that scares me too, but I can see employers pushing it initially. I’ve been stealth at work for decades with only a handful of trusted colleagues aware of my background. Requiring someone to out themselves constantly is unlikely to lead to a viable working environment.

Also, take some responsibility. Look at the ratio on our comments. Is that indicative of a country taking this seriously to you? An ally doing nothing material ratioed a trans person objecting to exceptionalism 77 to 1. That's not a fluke.

It's the same confusion at universities: students (i.e. fee-paying customers) who are trans would therefore be able to access toilets in alignment with their identified gender, but staff (i.e. workforce) who are trans wouldn't.

Apparently I got this purple piece of paper summoning me. Ah, it's Emoria again. But yeah right after I came out as a trans woman, I started to feel love extend out a little, when I started HRT a year later, my heart started to sing a new tune.

It's domestic abuse at its core. Though not as common (at least ime), I have heard of queer relationships where they just forbid any friendship outside of the romantic relationship (regardless of gender). It's all about control The fact that it's so normalized in het culture is so bizarre

I agree with you that the EHRC's advice over the poor Supreme Court decision, was really crass. However, the Mail, Express & Telegraph all today take the exact opposite view on trans children in schools!? As the ban on blockers, I understood this to be on medical expert advice for under 18s?
