In a citocracy, the citizens committees are the deciders. Power is at the base
Great? Not Golden? 🙄 The federal government does nothing well that serves the citizenry beyond its constitutionally prescribed roles, if that. What it does beyond those can safely be assumed to serve private interests, suspect and proscribed. All else is to be left to the states. Regression is a great place to start.
"One possible frame for this running debate is that, for the repliers' world to come about, a variety of other institutions would have to fail, amounting to total constitutional collapse. Is that possible? Yes, more than many of us realized. Is it here? No, and it's less likely than it was 6 mo. ago."
Rakove's view is that the federal part of that system has collapsed, and I think he's right. We're only looking at states now because they remain uncollapsed, but unfortunately are looking to them to do things they're not set up to do anymore, like oppose the federal govt with something like force
My favorite color is blue. Surprised you understand Cardi when your words seem more in support for Nicki. I will stick to the propaganda that this country is lost & states either need to secede or fight while you continue hold onto the guardrails with your finger tips and watch people die.
