One of the greatest things about Birmingham is because there was no money even to tear down the old stuff in the 90s, you still have Boutwell and Rickwood and the old department stores downtown and things like the Lyric and Carver theaters.

I've known about Ashburnham and have visited there. But I only just now learned about Oakham.

Edinburgh has a whole ‘city’ underneath. Went there a couple of years back on a guided tour. Really interesting. I can’t imagine living that life. I also went down some tunnels in Valkenburg in Holland once: different level of dark!

My son surfs off Doran Beach and Salmon creek. He is LA based but loves these spots when visits
