Posts discuss Starbucks shifting from "coffee-first" to customizable beverages and "selling the consumer’s identity," report union topics — claims of no contract for 4 years, "more union violations than any other company," shareholders urging settlement, and calls to "keep boycotting," alongside negative product sentiment ("disgusting coffee").

Starbucks has not signed a contract with the workers for 4 years. Starbucks has more union violations than any other company in the US. Shareholders are demanding they settle. Keep boycotting.
Worst part is you ‘could’ just switch to drip/the house coffee to save money and get the cafe experience but a lot of places I’ve been lately that charge that much on espresso are inattentive to the quality of their drip. It’s almost better just to get it pre-ground and use a French Press at home.
As Starbucks moved away from being a coffee-first business and towards an infinitely-customizable-beverage kitchen, they shifted also from selling primarily coffee to selling the consumer’s identity back to them (even more-so). So, yknow, maybe this development makes a certain kind of sense.
