Yep. I think some people believe that she has a better chance of winning than she does. Her campaign has always been a bit of a Hail Mary, and there's nothing wrong with that. The advantage of that is you get to be creative and try new things.

She actively campaigned for Dems. Again, she did/said all that mattered, when it actually mattered. She clearly articulated the stakes & forewarned of present outcome. She was ignored, attacked, told to go away. Can’t keep making demands of her after ignoring/disrespecting her. She owes you nothing.

I’m not sure all the councilors would agree with that specific assessment of her tenure, but i agree big picture that’s certainly the ideal and i certainly acknowledge it’s an especially difficult needle to thread with this ideological split on council and in this first year of the new system.

100%. Witt's up for re-election and has some pretty serious budgetary issues voters aren't going to jive with... she may decide now's the time to play nice with people who don't want their neighbors disappeared.

What do you know about her? Genuinely want to know as she is far more progressive than Klobuchar, understands current senate dem leadership isn’t cutting it and has spoken out, and isn’t driven to stay in the job past her prime. We need more Tina Smith’s not less.
