Someone that Hanger whomped twice showing up out of the blue and taking the title off Joe/Opps, who are supposed to be smart/powerful, the very next PPV, would seriously undercut that story. Would be stupid. Best story is Joe retaining, Hanger/Swerve having a little more time to evolve.

Yep this was one of the first possibilities that came to mind...though unlikely due to bloated roster (?). Could be something out of the blue, other outsiders. Existing AEW guys or a faction can't be counted out. #aew

This ironically one of the reasons I like AEW. They let you know the reason for things during the show, meaning you don't need to "catch up" and can just enjoy the show. Trusting that if you miss anything you will be caught up in real time.
