As AI models grow, turning scale into real-world results is getting harder. The challenge now is judgment and context, not more data or compute. Our CEO, Radha Basu, explains why AI’s next phase is cognitive infrastructure: community.nasscom.in/communities/... #ResponsibleAI #humanjudgement

I won't repeat my comment I left on your article here that you have yet to address, but I was actually shocked that seemingly only four commenters seem to have been outright unproductive. I guess I fit into the non-reader friends of AI box you've created, since I didn't agree with your blog post.

The "therapy" that people try to get from ChatGPT has led to suicide. A program fakes emotions. There is no emotion. Feelings are generated in fleshy bodies. That's how feelings exist. A program never FEELS real emotion b/c that is a physical state. So suicide is just a word that's in their program.

Perhaps I am wrong or just old. I do try to keep an open mind and I can see people all around use AI in various ways that don't feel gross. But for art or writing , I just dont care for it. I mean it feels hollow, in the sense that entertainment without human connection is wholly gross to me

The HR element is critical. The incentive for an employee to polish and make acceptable the raw output of THE THING MANAGEMENT WANTS TO REPLACE HIM WITH is, you guessed it: zero. Far better to pass on the unimproved crapslop and let management figure out that AI is, after all, the Messiah.

Two things have turned me off AI as being any kind of reliable partner. The first is when a coworker tried to create a project plan using ChatGPT. The results didn't make a lick of sense, but he charged ahead with it anyway because he did not have the expertise to understand why it was wrong.
